Three Dimensional Design Studio

 

This Course encourages students to explore the relationships between objects, their means of construction, the materials employed to construct them and the space that they occupy.

Students manipulate form and space while exploring the role that drawing plays in the process of investigation. Importance is placed on drawing as an investigative tool rather than an illustrative device.

Students of varying technical ability may share unfamiliar themes and not be intimidated by collective group efforts.

The foundation year encourages students to consider many fields of three-dimensional creativity. It is hoped that through a variety of approaches to the subject, students will be inspired to consider how they may play a very particular role in shaping our environmen
