A site archiving twenty years of design
In June, the Rhode Island Executive Office of Housing launched +1RI, an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) Design Competition, to encourage innovative, affordable, and accessible ADU designs that can help advance our Housing 2030 goals and expand housing opportunities for Rhode Islanders statewide.
We’re looking for creative approaches that expand housing options, promote livability, and help Rhode Islanders remain connected to their communities — including designs that support aging in place and residents with diverse needs.
