The
remodeling process created a double height wall adjacent to
the existing stair, enabling afternoon light to rebound into
the living space at ground floor The staircase now serves as
the main circulation route to all rooms on the upper floor.
The connecting lobby space has been designed to serve as a study
space and terminates in a new bathroom area.
